Me, too. I think the reason small paperbacks (new) are on the way out is primarily economics, Matt. The paperback return process has always been controversial as well. You see, bookstores strip the covers off and send that back to the publishers for credit. They just dump the actual books in the trash.
They require less paper (and cardstock), are easier to display on store shelves, and cost much less, thus publishers want to stop producing them. Got it.
I like the smaller books because they're physically easier to read. Trades are just a little too big, and hardbacks are heavy and bulky.
